Today as I was taking a taxi to the airport I had an opportunity to listen to my Canadian CBC morning news. I found it unsettling.
The Prime Minister of Israel is meeting with the President of the USA to discuss political alliance against Iran. The words that were chosen were not something that I have heard on Canadian radio before. There was reference to the USA defending Isreal in attacking Iran at a , ‘chosen time and place’. In fact there were several references to what sounds like a predetermined fact that Iran will be prevented from developing nuclear warheads. I wanted to examine the upcoming full moon to see what the planets have to say.
Full Moon energy is when issues that are holding stress have the opportunity to be expressed.
MOON WITH MARS, GOD OF WAR
Moon in the the 10th house in Leo brings on issues of power & ego displayed in a public arena. The Moon is by nature influenced by the company he keeps.
Mars is within 7 degrees of the Moon which is close enough to have a big impact.
Mars in the fire sign of Leo will heat up the emotions, passion and desire to act.
Mars is retrograde which means the energy will be internalized before it is externalized.
The retrograde Mars tells us that there are a lot of private power meetings going on that are working at preventing the force from exploding.
Venus and Jupiter is Aries, also a fire element provide a supporting role to the Mars in Leo. Aries is ruled by Mars thereby increasing the Mars, warring energy. Jupiter adds fuel to the fire. Saturn is holding down the explosiveness by being in direct opposition to Jupiter; at least providing some balance to the extreme unstable ego driven fire planets of the moment. However, any way you look at it, the planets are heated and ready for battle.
RAHU / LAGANA IN SCORPIO
The energy for this full moon is Jyestha which is at home in the dark side of the political power game. Rahu wants to act it out.
The Scorpio is in a locked stubborn position with the Moon and Mars.
This position adds to the intensity of the already existing intense energy.
MERCURY IS DEBILITATED IN PISCES
This means that communication can be very difficult and has the chance of breaking down. Pisces rules religion which can cause unreasonable, outdated beliefs to trigger action based on an emotional response.
SO WHAT?
We have all been warned of something major happening in 2012. We have all been thinking it will be a celestial occurance like a polar shift or dark period as we cross the galactic center. Apparently it may also be manmade.
Like it or not, the human race has still not moved past the need to be at war.
As a woman my heart immediately goes out to the innocent children who are , like so many generations before them , growing up in fear and anger.

In past empires Astrologers have had a seat right behind the king. In the mayan world, the pyramid of the Astrologer/ Astronomer is one of the main central structures.
If there is an Astrologer advising any of the global leaders intent on war at this time, they will tell them, now is a good time.

We know enough of the physics of the universe now to understand that our thoughts affect our atmosphere. This means that if enough people are praying and meditating on love and peace, we can actually offset an negative outcome. I know it sounds so cliche, but it is a fact.
