JUPITER IN ROHINI~SATURN IN CHITRA
If you love astrology you have to know about Rohini and Chitra! Both of these star constellations or nakshatras are divine. Jupiter and Saturn have similar power in the celestial court and to have them both in soft approaches to handing out karma.
Rohini constellation has the star Aldabaran. It is the red eye of the bull. It is associated with Prajapati, the creator of the universe. This is a prominent cosmic frequency for bringing about great success.

Jupiter is the benefactor. The one who gives and keeps on giving. Lord of Abundance. Lord Ganesha. When Jupiter passes through a segment of the sky it takes on the energy or frequency of that light arena. Currently Jupiter is passing through Rohini. This is good news.
Rohini is the favored nakshatra. The favorite wife of Daksa, creator of the universe. According to Dr. Raman, a famous recent Jyotishi from India, Lord Krishna had hit lagna and moon in Rohini. That makes sense to me. Rohini karma or light energy produces beauty in all it’s various forms. You are happy if you have any Rohini in your chart. Highly favorable.
I believe this energy is helping to stabilize the world situation right now, as hard as that may be to believe. There are many horrific things going on globally, no question, but you know for sure it could be worse if it were a more destructive nakshatra or energy frequency.
Jupiter in Rohini rules the fashion world for example. There is an explosion of amazing art, music and great fashion at this time in history. You may feel a bit oppressed by the late failing capitalist system, but history will look back at your era (now) as a great spiritual and artistic renaissance of a blended humanity. Saturn can do some damage for sure but in Chitra not so much. Chitra means, ‘the jewel’, ‘the beautiful’. The focus with Chitra is ‘kama’ or desire. Doing it because it feels good. Saturn in Chitra is a good thing because it brings a level of refinement to the cravings and control. Chitra is also ‘rakshasha’ which, you may as well know now means, ‘demon’. Combine kama and rakshasha and you have mortal cravings! You work, Saturn, for a nicer _____ (insert, car, house, dress, shiny things). Saturn in Chitra globally is, like Rohini, putting the emphasis on aesthetics.
Saturn will see dance with Jupiter in Gemini next year and then in Cancer until it changes signs in November 2014. Each year will have a slightly different flavor.
It is interesting to note and watch and learn, as we do with this science. We are always observers and students of this metaphysical language that opens up so much of the cosmos in us!
