ASTROLOGY OVER THE CHRISTMAS SEASON
As you head into the Christmas weekend, I thought I would give you a closer look at the planetary energies at play.

MOON IN SCORPIO WITH MERCURY AND RAHU
Yikes!Astrology is always about observing the energy that exists and then making the best of it. This is pretty intense emotional energy. For those who drink, there will be a tendency to drink way too much to relieve deep inner emotional tension. Rahu is already intoxicated so it can alter perception and cause misunderstanding and cloud vision. Mercury with Rahu will allow those normally controlled emotional response to come flooding out. Expect to see some breakdowns. There has been so much stress in the world, 2012 is coming,which is psychologically affecting everyone on some level, and fear is being constantly being pushed in the media. This energy will cause the dark side to rise. Bridge burning conversations would be an accurate description of how many will channel this energy!
On a positive note, use this energy to have those really intense serious intentional conversations that you have been putting off. Either way these two days lend themselves to a tip into darkness, which is just the reality of our two dimensional reality!
Knowing this, if you are in a super positive space and do not want to pollute your personal space with others negativity, make the visits shorter, watch how much alcohol you consume and simply say, ‘ I am sorry, I just am not willing to discuss that topic with you”. Thanks!
Sat.24 NEW MOON IN SAGITTARIUS, MULA
The new moon is on the 24th but extends into the 25th. The frequency is MULA, which means the ROOT. This constellation is near the galactic center of the constellation of Ophiuchus. This energy represents the end of materialism and the beginning of spiritualism. With the way the economy has been hitting so many I am sure there will be many discussions of how it is a good time to move away from senseless consumerism and move into a more spiritual approach to Christmas.
The deities of Mula are Nirritri, Goddess of destruction and Kali, another form of Shiva, both of which rule endings.
This is a great time to end abuse of any kind in your life. With a very important year coming up, this new moon is a great time to make a decision. Sagittarius is a very upbeat sign, so you would be surprised to learn about Mula. Sagittarius rules justice and higher learning so it makes sense that there would be some deeper wisdom underlying.
With Jupiter in Aries, Mars in Leo, and the Sun and Moon in Sagittarius, there is a lot of fire in the house! Passion is there for us to harness and own. Humor and laughter are the best ways to shake out blocked energy.
There will be lots of shifting in these few days. Stagnant relationships will dissolve and new ones will arise, all in record speed.
