Many people believe we are in the Age of Aquarius, but it is not true. Remember, the world is following an inaccurate calendar system created by Julius Caesar. How bizarre? Astrology began in the Vedas and uses sidereal time, which is the same system that is used today. Oh well… This means we are actually at the tail end of the Age of Pisces. Pisces is the final sign of the zodiac and a water sign. This year we are in the Tibetan astrological year of the Water Snake, so a water year in a water Age.
WATER
We live in a world of elements. Water is one of the key elements that make up our earth and our bodies. Think about it. We are about 78% water. Really think about it. It is such a wild concept. There is a great documentary recently out on youtube that identifies the latest discoveries on water. Water actually has memory cells. This has all kinds of ramifications and is worth contemplating. The most important is that the thoughts and feelings that go through your own body mind temple will be recorded onto the water you hold in your system.
Water is the element of emotion.
SNAKE
Well, the oldest part of our brain is reptilian, which, sad but true, belongs to the snake family. The ancient Vedas actually divide the planetary luminaries into the Devas, or Gods and the Asures or demons/nagas/snakes. The kundalini energy is a serpent energy. Like it or not, as angelic as you may be, you and I are in serpent bodies. I personally don’t like it much, but have not found a way around it yet!
My take is that at the beginning we were an exalted alien race of God’s who landed on this planet and mixed with the serpent race that was here. This is what makes the human form part angelic and part reptile.
WATER SNAKE
Snake is an energy that can eat it’s tail. This symbol goes back into antiquity as the symbol of eternity. Snake is also of the kundalini force that when awakened and lifted through the spine will hit the brain and cause a full flowering of consciousness. This is the coming together of the serpent and the angel forces. So this energy can represent the lower forces of nature which can be cunning and without consciousness, totally reptilian. On the other hand, this energy can represent the combining of forces to bring an emotional rise in consciousness.
SATURN/RAHU IN LIBRA
With this combination the entire year of the water snake, there will be a calling in of accountability so likely a lot of struggle in the world as the lower forces battle the call for higher consciousness.
This week continues to see the Sun, Mars and Mercury dancing together in Aquarius.
A NEW APPROACH
If you have been trying to conquer a bad habit and are still failing maybe it is time to think of taking a new approach. Try something you have never tried. If you are not succeeding one way, and have tried over and over again, try a new way. The energy this week is conducive for breaking patterns.
