MAYAN VEDIC INTERPRETATION OF PROMINENT ECLIPSES IN 2012.
Imagine the energy that is being put out around the earth with everyone wondering what kind of major event we are expecting in 2012. Thoughts are real vibrations that affect our reality. Whether something was supposed to happen or not, with the amount of energy that is being directed towards it, we may cause it!
Like everyone else I have also been looking for signs to help us understand the basis of what the Mayans may have been warning us about in 2012.
As an Astrologer I look for alarming planetary combinations that create a frequency that will affect our earth.
The Mayans centered their focus on Venus, so Venus must play prominently in the chart. Here we are! Two eclipses that have the two ingredients I was looking for; one on May 20,2012 and one on December 11,2012. Let us examine the details.
MAYANS: TIME IS ART
Many would argue that we are in a culture where time is money and that the current calendar that we follow is wrong so it throws us ‘off’.
Interesting is that Venus rules both money and art.
VENUS
Venus is Art.
Venus is love.
Venus is money.
The Mayans honored Venus, so we expect Venus to play a major role in any eventual activity that may occur. The ancient temple site in Tulum is devoted to Venus.
THE MAYANS TRIED TO TELL US THAT ‘TIME IS ART’
So it makes sense that Venus is prominent in the eclipses of 2012.
MAY 20,2012 ~ SOLAR ECLIPSE IN TAURUS
Venus is retrograde which mean it will act a little unusual.
But Venus is exalted in Taurus which makes it very strong.
This is a spectacular line up of Moon, Jupiter, Sun, Ketu, Venus in Taurus.
Venus with Ketu can indicate and artistic inspiration, falling in love or loss of money.
Could it be the movement away from the current global currency model and into a way of being more inspired by the art of living? Less focus on money opens the doors to less greed, and more divine human interaction.
As a ‘civilized culture’, we have more material possessions that the majority of the world, but guess what, we are also a nation of depressed and lost souls.
Spiritual satisfaction cannot come through material possessions. There is nothing wrong with material stuff; it is the game we play, but it has to be balanced with the spiritual.
KETU
Ketu is an eclipse point. It represents where the eclipses were occurring in your own birth chart and where it falls in current planets is where the eclipses are occurring now.
Ketu represents the past and is a mystic, unpredictable frequency that is aligned with Mars energy. Mars is a maleific meaning it can cause problems.
Ketu is so mystical and unpredictable.
Ketu is niche and unusual.
Ketu is loss and surrender.
Ketu is intoxicated.
MATERIAL SPIRITUAL BALANCE
Jupiter is between the Sun and the Moon asking for justice between the conscious and unconscious states. We are mostly unconscious Beings pretending to be conscious.
Jupiter causes awakening but also simply increases the energy of whatever planet it is influencing. This is a go big or go home kind of energy.
KRITTIKA-PLEIADES
Moon, Jupiter and Sun in Krittika.
The Pleiades are a group of 7 stars which figure prominently in historical reference.
Signifigant is that the deity for Krittika is Agni, the God of fire.
Krittika is an intense nakshatra It is rakshasa(demon) and kama(desire). It has the power to ‘cut away’ and burn off what is not needed. It is the nakshatra of PURIFICATION.
Purification is generally not a lot of fun unless you enjoy pain.
YELLOW DWARF
The Sun is a living entity that seems to be going through a major transformation at the moment. Solar storms are throwing off solar flares that are hitting our system There is heightened UFO activity around the sun. Something is going on!
The Sun, or SURYEA as it is called in sanskrit, is classified as a yellow dwarf.

I am not sure of any real sign here, but just find the number interesting.
MERCURY IS ALSO IN KRITTIKA
Mercury is only 3 degrees off the Moon so is also technically in this harmonic convergence.
Mercury in Aries can be very volatile and impulsive and is also ruled by Mars.

If there is going to be a banking collapse this would be a good day.

The energy is actually very beautiful,very spiritual and very artistic with Venus leading the pack.
To live on this beautiful green planet filled with water and plentiful animals are so lucky.

Well as you know I try to stay away from prediction feeling that the future can change at any moment and that we have energetic power over it.
This chart is powerful and gives incredible strength to Venus but in a ‘loss’ position. With this line up of planets you never know what element of existence will act out the energy pattern.
Greece has recently adopted a barter currency system in order to survive the complete collapse of the monetary economy. Each of us ought to develop a skill that can be offered in trade.
Again, like always, as a group of souls, we have the power to alter energy through collective positive thoughts. I believe we have been avoiding much larger disasters recently through global mediation and awareness. Here is the polarity of the May eclipse.
This eclipse also features Venus, the Sun, Moon and Mercury in Scorpio.
There is a fundamental difference between this eclipse and the one in May.
The planets now fall with Rahu.

Scorpio is ruled by Mars.

Both the Sun and Moon are very weak which will make Mercury weak.

SATURN IS EXALTED
The only really sane planet in this mix is Saturn, however, I would say it pretty much overpowered by the Scorpio planets.

Jupiter is still with Ketu where it began the journey with the May eclipse.
There is a lack of stability with Jupiter in this chart.
Jupiter with Ketu can represent an lack of stability and unreasonable fixity.
VENUS, RAHU, MOON IN VISHICKHA
Again we find Agni, the God of fire, involved in the eclipse as it also is a diety for Vishakha.
Indra , the God of transformation is also a co ruler of this nakshatra.
This nakshatra is ,‘the star of purpose’, and can be aggressive.
