THE ART OF LISTENING
If you are totally present in each moment one of the main senses you will use is your ability to listen. If you listen correctly, you will not forget. Imagine the time you would save! Asking in the moment for clarity if you do not understand not only makes the speaker feel appreciated, but keeps a flow going forward in your own co creative process. There is a quote that I so enjoy. General McArthur,was the youngest man to become a general in the US army in 1925, was asked how he was able to rise in his career so quickly. He replied, that is was not that he never made mistakes, but that he never made the same mistake twice. There is huge wisdom in this concept. The idea is directly linked to listening. Imagine how your life would become more authentic if you increased your ability to listen. Your success would increase if you had the ability to listen to yourself and others.
LISTENING TO YOURSELF
Now here is a concept! In a world where marketing is continually trying to pursuade us to move in a certain direction, particularly to purchasing, we loose our ability to even know what we want. We work hard for our money to pay for our purchases that were often entered into without full consciousness. We stay in relationships when our heart is begging us to listen. Doctors prescribe anti depressants instead of telling us to get out of a bad relationship, be in romance or work. As a starting point, learn to listen to yourself before you can effectively can listen to another.

THE PROJECTED COSMOS
Imagine that you are a musical instrument and that your thoughts and words are your melody. Each of us are a unique wind instrument and based on our own authentic nature, produce a vibration that goes out into the global and universal orchestra. If you are totally in tune with your own organic authentic nature, your tune will be effortless and clear. Believe it or not, there seems to be a reward for doing this. When you are totally lined up with your dharmic path, or right action for YOU, the response from the cosmos is quicker, and more magical. Understanding your astrological karmic code can be a major tool in creating this alignment.

LISTENING TO ANOTHER
Really, the greatest thing you can do for another is to give them the gift of hearing them. When one feels they are truly heard, they feel validated and important. When one lives in a relationship for many years where there partner does not really listen to them, there is a break down in self esteem which eventually leads to all kinds of health problems. It has been my experience,that truly powerful people listen so well. They can sit with you for five minutes and in five minutes can be more effective in influencing you positively than someone who you know for years. Of course, it is directly linked to caring and this has to be genuine. If you are not going to really care, better you be honest and just avoid the relationship where you are never going to listen.
