ROMANTIC LOVE & THE SATURN INHIBITOR EFFECT

So much of my Astrology counselling involves analysis of romance in the chart. Seems people are either getting into relationships or getting out of relationships. After 25 years as an Astrologer, I would have to say that I believe we are all here enrolled in the same school.

THE GAIA SCHOOL OF RELATIONSHIPS

Kindergarten to the Phd level we are all positioned somewhere in this school. Somebody has paid our tuition, we are not entirely sure who, and would like to have a chance to have a good shot at them at different times of our life, and we are all here in campus Gaia. When asked to look into the chart of a newly acquired romance as it relates to yours there are a few key areas that I will target.

MARS: A REFLECTION OF LIBIDO

First, lets be honest with ourselves, we crawl into bed with the same person night after night because we enjoy the feeling of intimacy that arises from the chemistry. At least it should be that way! If we wish to be monogamous, it means that this one person must satisfy our sexual appetite. Just like any other appetite, there are variations.

Ever notice, how some people can eat 3 large meals a day, snack, and stay skinny, while others must be very careful about the 2 moderate meals that you plan carefully each day with no snacking! Everybody is born with their own unique appetite and ability to ingest, digest and absorb.

WE CAN LOOK TO THE CHART TO SEE APPETITE

Mars will give us an indication of how aggressive someone will be. It will also give us an indication of how hungry or voracious they may be, or even if they have an appetite at all! Please be very clear , there is no judgement present, whether you have a large appetite or a small appetite, it does not make you a better or worse person. A very strong Mars energy will desire lots of sex. The proper romantic partner must have their Mars strong enough to match.

MARS INHIBITOR
SATURN

To be honest, the first compatibility point I will examine is how your Mars dances with his Saturn, or how her Mars dances with her Saturn.

Mars wants.

Saturn restricts.

Not to say that Mars and Saturn combinations can’t create lasting great relationships, but generally not.

Why?

One wants sex all the time, or so it would seem to the Saturn person. This leaves the Mars person always feeling hungry , and not sexually satisfied. For matching libidos, we like to see matching Mars energy without the limiting structure of Saturn.

JUPITER INHIBITOR
SATURN

Saturn is not a bad planet! We all have Saturn and we all need a strong healthy Saturn. The refrigerator is something we all use and have come to rely upon. In the kitchen close to the food is a well placed fridge. In the bedroom or bathroom the much loved fridge would suddenly become a hindrance and bother. Jupiter gives us information on what causes great enjoyment for an individual. For example, Jupiter in Aries in the 8th house give a love of spontaneous and adventurous sex. Because it is 8th house, this would be a characteristic that would not be obvious to many who know the individual. This person may love to have sex 3x day, quickies, not necessarily into long extended foreplay. This is just the way they express love. No judgement.

Say, you come along, are extremely attracted to this individual, and for the first month enjoy a lot of sex, much more than you would normally like, but by the 6th month you are finding the tempo just too much to handle. By this time, you have really fallen in love with so many aspects of your new lovers character, and are hoping that this particular trait might be able to be altered to suit your libido.

So you call me!

I take a look at your charts and immediately see that your Saturn is also in Aries sitting right on top of his Saturn. Red flashing lights!! Jupiter inhibitor! Sure there are things you can do to adjust into the relationship, but generally after time, we all come back to our own water level. As much as we don’t to see it, there it is. The answer to what is preventing the full flow of this romance. Sometimes!

LOVE ONLY,
Paddi
