This is a hot topic. I want to go into the pursuit of pleasure through substance that eventually turns to addiction which causes pain.
VENUS IN TAURUS
Venus is the planet of love and pleasure. Venus belongs to Taurus so is in it’s home frequency. Venus is the part of us that is attracted to sensual pleasure. Taurus belongs to the element earth which represents anything that comes from the earth that invokes pleasure. Food, drink, physical contact, attraction to beauty, taste, smell and sight. Taurus is fixed sign which means exactly that; in essence this attraction can provide sensual delight but can also lead to never being able to get enough, or addiction. How many of you can relate to addiction?
ADDICTION
How do we move from being innocent loving children to 20 years later, addicted to alcohol, drugs, sugar or sex? What is the fine line between enjoyment and addiction? How does one realize addiction? How does one conquer addiction? And, is it worth it?
HEALTHY ADDICTION?
If you have very strong fixed planets and a chart that is oriented towards pleasure, is it possible to have healthy addictions? How do you move from an unhealthy addiction to a healthy addiction?
DO YOU HAVE AN ADDICTIVE NATURE?
Well, that is a question you may or may not want to address. The answer can be daunting, but I invite you to ask. I study this sacred wisdom because it is knowledge and knowledge is power. If you become familar with your own karmic code and fine that you do have the addictive imprint, doesn’t it make sense to face it and use your power to manage that aspect of your life?

FOLLOWING THROUGH
Now here is the hard part. You and I all happen to be born in a height of the new western empire where worldwide trade is like never before. Where I live in Vancouver, I can go to the local grocery store and buy products from all over the world. I can go to the liquor store and buy distillatoin from all over the globe. I can go to the local corner market and buy any kind of tobacco I want. I can go to the pharmacy and purchase all forms of medicines & drugs and finally I can go onto the street and buy illegal medicine and drugs. We currently live in a time of pleasure. All available. How do we enjoy it and know what is good for us and what is not, put personal limits in place and follow through with that intention?
WEAK PLANETS
When you become familar with your own chart you are given information on your stronger and weaker planets. The reason I am working so hard to bring this wisdom to the west is because I see over and over again ( 30 years () that it works. Knowing for example, that you are born with a weak Moon and a strong Mars in fixed signs you will be way susestible to addiction and great difficulty in moderation. This is where knowledge is power. How?
DELEGATION
What makes ordinary people as smart as you super successful? Very often the ingredient is that somebody knows what they are good at and what they are not good at. They do not waste time putting energy into their weaknesses, rather they find somebody who is strong in that arena; this is called delegating. How can this help you with with your addiction?
INDEPENDENT VS. INTERDEPENDENT.
We live in a world with each other. We all have strengths and weaknesses; together we form humanity. We can fall into co dependent, independent , independant and interdependant. Basically I am saying, we need each other If you can gain the knowledge of why you are addictive and that is your nature, and have proven that you cannot fix the problem yourself, maybe it is time to understand that you can call in another who is strong where you are weak and invoke their strenght to help balance your own life.
WHEN IS IT TIME TO ASK /ACT?
There is a common belief that those who are addicted need to hit rock bottome before they ask for help. Is that really necessary?
